Umbrella Theatre School
Welcome to Umbrella Theatre School, where every child can shine! After five successful years running Umbrella Theatre Productions, dedicated to accessible and affordable theatre for children, we are thrilled to launch our flagship Theatre School.
We offer professional training in the performing arts for kids and teens aged 3-18, focusing on accessibility, fun, and creativity. At Umbrella, we believe in nurturing talent and building confidence in an exciting and supportive environment. Join us and watch your child’s imagination take centre stage!
Rachel (Principal)
Rachel is a graduate of Italia Conti and The Royal Academy of Music with a Masters Degree in Musical Theatre. A seasoned professional performer Rachel teaches extensively around her work as an actress.
With over 15 years teaching under her belt at various theatre schools in and around London, Rachel is excited to create a safe, fun and professional space for children to fall in love with theatre and discover their creativity.
David (Principal)
David trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and has spent the last 10 years working in Musical Theatre. He has performed all over the world in shows such as 'The Wizard of OZ' and 'Dreamboats and Petticoats'.
For the last 6 years, David has been sharing some of his love for Theatre within specialist academies and schools all over London. He is delighted to be a co founder and principal of Umbrella Theatre School and looks forward to welcoming many enthusiastic and excited children to our school.
Clara (Teacher)
Clara grew up in Burnley, Lancashire, where she began dancing at the ripe old age of two!
Aged 16 shed moved to London where she trained at the prestigious Doreen Bird College of performing arts.
Since graduating Clara has become an integral teacher at several dance schools in South London and is a trained ISTD teacher.
Recently Clara starred as Princess Jasmine in Umbrella Theatre Productions tour of Aladdin. An Interactive Pantomime.
